Edit-GPT: Instance-level Image Editing with LLM Agent

Nov. 2023 – Present | Co-author

Developed a novel LLM-based interface for image editing, achieving a 30% reduction in discrepancies between model outcomes and editing commands.
Enabled complex editing commands with 79.55% accuracy, including add, delete, replace, move, style conversion.
Outperformed SDEdit, InstructPix2Pix and MGLE in 94.73% of test within 5 metrics, including CLIP.
Authored a research paper, currently under review of IEEE TCSVT following valuable ACM MM feedback(2, 3, 4).

Implemented Text-to-3D conversion by integrating OpenAI’s Point-E with ControlNet for constrained point cloud generation.
Completed preliminary baseline model.
Achieved a public patent (as second author, see "Publication"), which proved a theoretical upper bound on the discrepancy between multiple diffusion models in 3D generation tasks.
